At the Wishart Group’s business premises, Solarfix installed a 5.5kW solar panel system with a hybrid inverter. Although home storage batteries weren't included initially, the hybrid inverter allows for easy integration of a battery in the future. Since the business operates during daylight hours, a battery isn’t currently needed, but this will be reviewed after a full year of monitoring import/export with the solar system. Since its installation in March 2024, the system has generated over 3,000 units, equating to nearly £1,000 in savings. This setup is ideal for reducing energy costs and carbon footprint, with the flexibility to expand as energy needs evolve.
